Plastic Spray Painting is a secondary surface finishing process for molded plastic parts. After injection molding, paint is atomized by compressed air and sprayed evenly onto plastic surfaces, then cured by heat or UV light to form a protective & decorative coating.

A wide range of finishes can be achieved: high-gloss, matte, soft-touch rubber paint, metallic and pearl effects.

Advantages

  • No mold modification required
  • Flexible color matching
  • Suitable for complex 3D shapes and small-batch orders

Limitations

  • Extra production step
  • Risk of chipping and scratching
  • Higher VOC emissions
